Retailers increasingly becoming fish food
One interesting thing that we've noted over the last 6 months is how the attention of Phishermen has gradually shifted from big banks (and eBay/PayPal) to other targets. Of course, eBay and PayPal are still the two most recorded phishing targets that we track. But now nearly 15% of phony sites are for retailers like Amazon.com, or Overstock.com. Typically these just ask for login information, which makes it hard to do anything but buy merchandise directly on there and ship it to a different address.
